Many of us are becoming increasingly aware that diet alone can’t keep us in a state of optimum health. The way our food is farmed – and, in many cases, processed – means that its nutritional value is not what it used to be.
The obvious answer is to supplement your diet with vitamins, minerals and other nutritional supplements.
However, how do you decide what to take?
.....how much to take?
....what form you should take it in?
....should you even be taking it?
There are many books available to you explaining the role vitamins, minerals and other nutritional supplements can play in a healthy lifestyle but, unfortunately, most of them are written as reference books – not reading books – and assume that you have either prior knowledge of (or the time to try to understand) all the relevant technical terminology.
Additionally, whilst supplement labels give you information about what a product is, legislation prevents manufacturers from saying what it can actually do to benefit you.
For the past six years, I have been educating customers on the role supplements can play in maintaining a healthy lifestyle by providing the information they need to make decisions about which vitamins, minerals and supplements to take.
Now (after repeated requests from my customers) I’ve put this information in The Plain English Guide To Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements in exactly the same way as I speak to a customer face to face – plain, simple and understandable
In this book you'll learn:
· If and why you need to supplement your diet
· The different types of supplements and what they can do for you
· How to choose a multi-vitamin and mineral supplement
· How to read and understand a supplement label
· Explanations of terms used on supplement labels
· What vitamins and minerals do and signs of deficiency
You’ll also learn the role supplements can play in maintaining – or improving – your health and quality of life, with chapters discussing the more common ailments experienced by you at any stage of your life.
